OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Agile Project Manager to lead our software development team in building an application that supports network automation for a commercial Fortune 500 customer. In addition provide back up project management support, as needed, for corporate network engineering related activities.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes
- Lead daily scrum meetings and other project meetings as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and ensure timely delivery
- Communicate project progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding and experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.
- Leadership: Possess strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members, provide guidance and direction, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Problem Solving: Should be an effective problem solver, able to identify and address project issues and risks, and find solutions to overcome obstacles and challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
- CERTIFICATIONS: PMP certification as well as a Certified Scrum Master certification.
- High School / GED Diploma
