Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of a major program, or multiple programs, through subordinate program/project managers, in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Provides project supervision and management for major program activities.
Manages and directs program personnel to ensure objectives are met with top quality and levels of performance.
Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, and mentoring staff.
Responsible for all phases of the project budget. Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; prepare forecasts of program financial performance.
Develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports
Support business development and proposal efforts
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 10 years of Project Management experience in managing Federal Secret Contracts
Experience directing and supervising business and operational personnel on a major program, project, or activity
Experience leading teams to deliver Government contract commitments for Army customers
Experience with cost estimates, budgets, and financial reporting
Experience with project planning and scheduling
Experience managing subcontract teammates, including staffing
Experience managing and competing for task orders
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and SharePoint)
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Top Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree
Possesses advanced management, executive development training, and/or Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience directing and supervising engineering and technical personnel on a major program, project, or activity
Previous experience supporting Army programs
Previous experience managing Army Research and Development contracts
