OVERVIEW:
As a database administrator who specializes in Microsoft SQL, you know how to manage and secure database technology. You can use those skills to improve the database technology supporting the Customer.
You’ll provide your client with peace of mind as you develop and contribute to policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the database. You’ll use technology and tools to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical database.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 12+ years of experience with information technology, software development, or software design
- 6+ years of experience with Oracle, MS SQL, or AWS relational databases
- Experience with database administration on production servers with server configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, and maintenance for outstanding troubleshooting capabilities, oracle replication, backup or recovery, and disaster recovery and planning
- Knowledge of federal information system policies, including NIST 800.53, FISMA, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), and configuration management
- Ability to obtain IAT II Certification within 30 days of hire
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a DevOps or Agile development environment
- Experience with AWS and managing Microsoft SQL Server instances on AWS platforms
- Experience writing SQLs to gather information from Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), containers, Serverless Architecture, and micro-services
- Master's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Developer, Database Administration, Database Management and Analytics Certifications
