OVERVIEW:

The Senior Tableau Developer reports to the People Analytics Manager.  In this role, you will serve as an active partner with HR and leaders to perform research and analyses on a broad spectrum of people issues including workforce planning, employee surveys, employee attraction and selection, performance, growth, engagement, learning, compensation, diversity, and retention. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in critical thinking, project management, quantitative & qualitative analysis, consulting, and communication skills, with experience working with a variety of stakeholders at multiple levels within an organization; inside and outside HR. You must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoy handling multiple projects simultaneously.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Help build & grow our people analytics & workforce intelligence function and serve as an internal thought leader
  • Apply expertise in people research, quantitative and qualitative analysis, data science, and data visualization to help us optimize the complete cycle of talent from workforce planning through retention
  • Innovate key elements of our people data strategy, including internal employee research primarily focused on employee lifecycle surveys, 3rd party assessment data, and outside data or research (e.g., benchmarks, labor market availability, industry partnerships, etc)
  • Collaborate with other data owners (e.g., HRIT, IT Data Science, etc) to ensure execution of the overall HR data strategy that meets HR & business needs, and to establish system infrastructure required to collect, analyze and present data
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of HR initiatives (e.g., training, performance management, retention programs)
  • Partner with HR and leaders on prioritized people-research projects, leading the process to crystalize the business need, gather and analyze data, interpret the information, and action plan
  • Develop models and predictive tools that enable better people decision-making processes
  • Support our legal and compliance teams on required or requested analyses
  • Provide training, consultation, and development on the interpretation of data in order to help increase the capability of our HR team
  • Provide basic leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; identifying and initiating projects; managing resources; and driving the resolution of issues

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field emphasizing people research in organizations (e.g., I/O Psychology, Organizational Behavior, People Analytics, Economics, Data Science, Applied Math, etc.) or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with analytics (R, SPSS, Python, SAS or similar) and data visualization (Spotfire, Tableau, R Shiny, or similar) tools
  • Proven track record in solving business problems using people research and change management
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative research using primary and secondary data
  • Proven experience successfully leading complex projects
