Conduct data modeling activities in support of data strategy and initiatives at the Chief Data Officer level
Document and diagram data/information flows for new and existing business processes for inclusion in the Enterprise Architecture Repository
Assist with data architecture repository and database for CISA sponsored programs
Oversee the creation and use of conceptual data models
Experience with Industry-Standard Data Modeling Tools
Provide assistance with charters, communication plans, meeting agendas, status reports
Develop data modeling artifacts such as conceptual data models, logical data models, data dictionaries, data schemas, data mapping documents, etc.
Make recommendations on data strategies and approaches, promote continuous architecture improvements
Act as advisor and liaison between Government and technical stakeholders to propose changes to the architecture, design and implementation based on analysis of requirements and new technology
Support the planning, development, and refresh of Data Management Plans
Communicate and collaborate with government staff and other contractors (infrastructure, cyber security, and applications)
Primary location is Chantilly, VA with occasional meetings in Arlington, VA (Ballston). Due to COVID-19, this position will initially be 100% telework, with return to office environments dependent on Government decisions regarding workplace safety and policy.

8+ years of enterprise architecture experience such as TRM, DODAF, DHS EA
Solid interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation and experience working with multiple subcontractor teams
Experience with industry-standard data modeling tools (eg. Erwin)
Strong project planning and organizational skills
