OVERVIEW:

Our Customer requires support in planning and execution of the transformation of organ procurement and transplantation processes and supporting policy, governance, and technology to drive improvements in system performance, health equity, patient outcomes and patient safety.

A successful government customer transformation consists of:

  • A fundamental rethinking and modernization of how the customer supports procurement and transplantation to achieve dramatic improvements in critical contemporary measures of performance.
  • The creation of a future state vision for oversight and management of the network consistent with customer-centric design principles.
  • A logical, comprehensive, and systematic strategy for supporting iterative/incremental modernization of the network.
  • A logical and comprehensive strategy for the governance and oversight of contract and other types of procurement actions supporting the network
  • An executable operational plan that adheres to Government-defined milestones and includes routine resource assessments, risk management, performance monitoring, and reporting.
  • The Government’s ability to execute the plan using an iterative, agile approach through piloting and other industry-accepted models for major transformative efforts.
  • Frequent and multi-directional communication and coordination across all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuity of end-goals and messaging across all aspects of transformation.
  • Transparency and accountability to our government customers’ leadership, oversight entities, and stakeholders
  • Effective program oversight and compliance with applicable statute and policy; and
  • Effective data migration and conversion approach that will allow the modernized platform to ensure effective continuity of functionality and operations.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage, drive faster adoption, and promote higher ultimate utilization of products and services
  • Apply structured methodologies and leads change management activities
  • Apply a change management process and tools to create strategies that support adoption of the changes required by an IT project, or process improvement
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of business process reengineering and strategic communications efforts
  • Design and execute change management assessments
  • Assesses the impact of changes
  • Identify key stakeholders and stakeholder segments, conduct impact analyses, and assess change readiness
  • Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training and orientation programs
  • Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation works to ensure alignment of project communications with overall strategy and plans
  • Use various communications media to aid the communications process and works with web teams and other technical resources to maximize the use of technology

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree; Advanced degree in medical field or public health highly preferred.
  • 12+ years of project management and related experience
  • 8+ years in a professional services consulting environment.
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

CLEARANCE:

  • US Citizenship required
