2822 - Cyber Subject Matter Expert

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Provide extensive experience designing enterprise-level security software produced at Ft. Meade, MD.
  • Evaluate concepts and their implementation/integration feasibility into mission architectures, including communications and visualization systems.
  • Provide documentation of development and user procedures to enhance Operational Unit actions, inform concept of operations development, and enable rapid and intuitive human interface designs.
  • Track and maintain configuration control over any developed and modified versions of software.
  • Design, develop, integrate, and test Offensive Cyber capabilities.
  • Assist in ensuring developed and acquired products are fielded, operationally accepted, and are highly advocated for by SPO customers.
  • Support the activities to achieve certification and accreditation (C&A) as technical experts, on-boarding, Evaluated Levels of Assurance (ELA), Developmental Testing, Contractor Testing, and Operational Testing.
  • Conduct pre-DE technical reviews of developmental products assigned.
  • Risk Management Framework (RMF) understanding.
  • Integration of capabilities on the Customer's network requires extensive system engineering expertise and knowledge of the Customer's fielded systems such as Host Based Security System (HBSS), Information Operations Platform (IOP), routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
  • Advise Government to enable fielding of HBSS modules onto the enterprise without conflict to already deployed capabilities
  • Oversee development and testing of products managed by HNC.
  • Develop and implement a structured training program for the operation and maintenance of tools.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience developing frameworks, research and /or prototype technical solutions to design and architecture of software supporting Cyber Warfare Operations
  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • Computer Network Operations Development Program (CNODP) or Remote Interactive Operator Training (RIOT) graduate
  • Operational experience along with development experience in Windows & Linux kernel, C++, C, Python, ELK, Enterprise Java Beans, full stack development supporting large scale enterprise systems.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CISSP, GSLC, CEH, or CCNA Cyber Ops certification preferred
