OVERVIEW:
We are looking for candidates with a strong Computer Science background and experience in software development for full-time positions. Candidates will work as part of a team to research, conceive and develop solutions by applying innovative approaches to solving customer problems.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- The candidate will work on a team to write software and design, implement and test solutions, utilizing a simulation testbed, in the areas of cyber security and networking for wireless and wired networks.
- Participate in preparing presentations and demonstrations for technical information exchanges with the end customer. The work entails using problem-solving skills to design and prototype innovative solutions to prove out technical concepts that address customer cyber requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree (graduate degree preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Strong software development experience with C/C++, Java, Python and other scripting languages
- Experience in DevSecOps, containers, microservices, Kubernetes is a plus
- Strong understanding of data communications, networking protocols and
- networking fundamentals
- Knowledge of and hands-on experience in the area of cyber security
- Strong systems skills (Linux, Windows)
- Familiarity with operation of network components such as switches, routers and firewalls
- Understanding and experience with ns-3 simulation environment is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with customers
- Ability to work independently and with minimal direction
