OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an Analytic Modernization Specialist (SIGINT SME) well versed in SIGINT fundamentals and exploitation methods, with experience enabling automation through platforms such as JEMA, Arc Model Builder, and/or Brewlytics or via scripting solutions in order to process and analyze large datasets, using their technical knowledge, experience, and customer-centric focus to create and deliver world-class data modeling content.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Support an exciting and interesting mission in a high-paced dynamic team environment.
  • The SME will coordinate with our clients to understand analytic questions and issues, then determine the best method and approach to create data-driven solutions in order to expedite the analytic process.
  • This position will be relied upon as the SME, and help others understand automated workflow capabilities, analytical tools, and alternative automated solutions.
  • The Analytic Modernization Specialist, will write scripts, conduct analysis, identify patterns, and use available tools to analyze data and discover hidden patterns to help solve some complex problems that face the customer and Intelligence Community.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in math or a science-related field or possess at least 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.  
  • Knowledge of advanced analytic methodologies, and experience in implementing and executing methodologies to enable customer satisfaction
  • Familiarity with IC accessible SIGINT specific databases and toolsets such as DataXplorer
  • Fundamental understanding of Operational ELINT (OpELINT) analytic concepts and exploitation methods against foreign non-communication emissions associated with radars and weapon systems
  • Capable of combining analytics, tools, and visualizations to enable expedited data-driven analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in data mining and developing/maintaining/manipulating databases to modernize analytical processes and methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience using COTS or GOTS software for advanced analysis, which enables large datasets to be interrogated and allows for patterns, relationships, and anticipatory behavioral likelihoods that may not be apparent using traditional single discipline means  
  • Conduct GEOINT/SIGINT analysis against issues in mission areas, using various methodologies and Spatio-temporal data derived from various data sources. Use understanding of tradecraft techniques and technology, spatial thinking, intelligence issues, and the social and physical sciences to create information, characterize events, and discover relationships and trends in support of national security.  
  • Conduct multi-INT research to support analysis conducted against mission-specific issues.  
  • Demonstrated experience in directing activities of highly skilled technical and analytical teams responsible for developing solutions to highly complex analytical/intelligence problems.  
  • JEMA, Arc Model Builder, and/or Brewlytics

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience locating ELINT targets and determining the operational patterns of the systems
  • Experience identifying and monitoring changes to a target set’s Electronic Order of Battle (EOB)
  • Familiarity with Dialed Number Recognition (DNR) analytic methodologies, associated tools, and resources
  • Experience automating processing utilizing scripting languages such as but not limited to R, Python, JAVA, SQL, and HTML.
  • Experience building and maintaining databases of GEOINT, SIGINT, or OSINT data related to the area of interest needs.  
  • Extract and acquire information, derivative information, and multi-INT data for analysis, visualization, and modeling to address mission-specific intelligence issues  
  • Produce descriptive and/or predictive analyses and communicate findings, as written, visual, and/or oral intelligence  
  • Produce non-standard and/or informal products, which require little to no editing, including, but not limited to graphics, infographics, maps, and briefings tailored to mission-specific issues  
  • Provide timely, relevant, accurate GEOINT analysis of military, regime, and humanitarian issues related to countries and issues in mission areas to policymakers, allied organizations, military, and the IC
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying systems enhancements, new capabilities, concept demonstrators, and capability business cases.
  • Publish formal written products, which require little to no editing
