OVERVIEW:
The program is seeking a motivated, mission-oriented Cyber Operations Instructor with strong customer focus and experience, as well as instructor skills, ready to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Able to collaborate with subject Matter Experts, and staff officers to identify program needs, assist in developing learning materials, and execute learning programs.
- Develops and presents complex training programs for customers and in-house employees.
- Assesses student trainees to measure their baseline understanding of topics, learning progress, and to evaluate effectiveness of course presentations.
- Conducts training programs on complex topics and designs and develops training program elements, modules, and labs.
- Provides guidance and direction to less experienced trainers utilizing strong technical and training skills.
- Responsible for managing a growing lab environment, equipment inventory and allocation, as well as assisting with the build-out of training scenarios.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent with at least three years of relevant Cyber Operations experience.
- Experience conducting course lectures and facilitated discussions.
- Demonstrated experience to include but not limited to: IT networking, mobile and desktop operating systems (IOS, ANDROID, WINDOWS LINUX).
- Documented experience operating in diverse environments.
- Three to five years demonstrated experience with computer programming and scripting languages, information technology security products, and field exploitation and collection techniques.
- Demonstrated technical expertise working complex cyber challenges.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in computer forensic or cyber exploitation operations.
- Familiar with cyber security strategies and concepts.
- Familiar with cyber topics to include: forensics, vulnerability testing, analysis, and incident response.
