OVERVIEW:
You will apply project management best practices to support a DoD Program Management Office with managing process improvements, staff and schedule trackers, program governance, and identifying process automation strategies to improve effectiveness and efficiency. You will support the development of program and process documentation and reporting as well as tasks that inform program leadership and senior executives in the DoD chain of command. You will work with government activities and contractor personnel to meet project milestones and minimize risk while identifying issues and developing recommendations for issue resolution for program and client leadership.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience with DoD or civilian project management and continuous project improvement
- Experience with the analysis, preparation, and presentation of complex data
- Experience collecting and synthesizing details of program staff activities into succinct reports and presentations
- Ability to be a self-starter, working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders melding a process driven approach with people driven considerations
- Ability to provide innovative solutions to program and client challenges in an environment of shifting priorities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- HS diploma or GED
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in a PMO supporting large contracts
- Experience in business process modeling or strategic communication
- Experience working with intelligence collection, analysis, or production processes
- Experience building relationships through teamwork
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Power Apps, or Power BI
- Possession of excellent program management, organizational, time management, prioritization, and data management skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication, creative thinking, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
