OVERVIEW:
Manages day-to-day operational requirements in support of the design and configuration of enterprise-wide technology infrastructure and configuration management functions in a data center environment. Assists with the development and maintenance of system design, layout, and baseline configuration documentation. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts; contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision; mentors or supervises employees in both firm and technical competencies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience supporting the configuration of enterprise-wide server-based solutions for multi-platform information systems.
- Experience conducting Root Cause analysis for faults in systems in support of trouble shooting efforts.
- Experience providing recommendations for system improvements to reduce outages
- Ability to obtain IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to maintain system documentation of assigned systems

- HS diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience in the design and management of data center environments or Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in the design and management of data center environments
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with developing recommendations for lifecycle and modernization efforts
- Possession of written and verbal communication skills
- MCSE or Role-based Microsoft Certified Expert in relevant area
- VMware Data Center Virtualization Certification
- Cisco Data Center DCCOR or DCID certification
- Top Secret/SCI Clearance
