2573 - Unified Communications Voice Engineer

OVERVIEW:

As a network engineer on our team, you’ll consult for a DoD client as they work on a reliable network to support critical missions. You’ll provide technical leadership in a team assisting SMEs, team members, and customers with the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You’ll then lead the planning of the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you’ll put your hardware and software talents to good use. This is your chance to support your team with growing their knowledge base with Cisco Unified Communications Systems, while broadening the scope of your network engineering work.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience with network information requirements using analysis of network engineers in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale networking infrastructure
  • Experience with design and configuration of Cisco routers and switches
  • Experience with design and configuration of Cisco Unified Communications Systems
  • Experience with design, configuration, or administration of VOIP systems
  • Ability to design architecture, including the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements
  • HS diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience in a professional work environment or Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a professional work environment
  • Ability to obtain IAT II Certification within 30 days of hire
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with leading or supervising a team and working as part of an integrated product team (IPT) to deliver services to customers
  • Ability to conduct in-depth technical and non-technical conversations concerning work
  • Ability to convey technical and non-technical discussions into easily understandable and grammatically correct written documentation
  • Ability to work and lead under pressure in a complex and changing technical environment
  • Ability to evaluate problems of workflows and network usage analytically and systematically
  • Possession of excellent customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • CCNP Enterprise certification, CCNP Collaboration certification
