OVERVIEW:

Develops, and executes integrated marketing communications projects according to the strategies and revenue objectives. Creates communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products including graphics, brochures, company or product fact sheets, logos, or other promotional products. Researches and develops content for publication of products in various media and markets. Prepares presentations and/or speeches. Provides input into the creation of marketing communications program budgets and plans. Develops marketing communications programs designed to support Business Unit strategies. Executes integrated marketing communications projects utilizing the following tools: advertising, promotions, direct response, user conferences, events, trade shows, sponsorships, online and channel communications, among others. Analyzes and reports on the effectiveness of marketing communications investments and recommends changes in strategy or mix to improve effectiveness. Works with outside vendors, marketing and sales teams to develop strategy and focus for trade shows. Collaborates with other departments and outside vendors in the content and design of the Company website.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Provides support to facilitate the end-to-end lifecycle for all communications, outreach, and public affairs requirements with internal and external partners and customers, as well as public audiences
  • Utilizes request management tools such as NarQuest to provide swift, high quality customer support for communications requests
  • Utilizes the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) tool to manage all engagement and outreach information
  • Assists with development, implementation, and evaluation of engagement strategies
  • Tracks relevant media and summarizes media coverage
  • Provides interview and event preparation to senior leadership
  • Manages speaker and outreach engagements; schedules, advertises, markets, coordinates attendance
  • Responds to inquiries from congressional staff, intergovernmental organizations, private sector, or the public
  • Coordinates arrangements with external stakeholders for meetings and briefings
  • Prepares briefing materials including background, talking points, and presentation material
  • Manages news media coverage including responding to requests from various news sources about area office programs and operations
  • Plans and executes periodic events and information sessions for the workforce, including identifying the topics, handling event logistics such as room reservation and set-up, preparing presentation materials, and marketing the event internally
  • Manages news media coverage including responding to requests from various news sources about area office programs and operations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires 3 years with BS/BA or 9 years of experience without
  • Experience facilitating the end-to-end lifecycle for communications, outreach, and public affairs requirements with internal and external partners and customers, as well as public audiences
  • Experience using request management tools
  • Experience using a Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) tool to manage all engagement and outreach information
  • Ability to assists with development, implementation, and evaluation of engagement strategies
  • Experience tracking relevant media and summarizing media coverage
