OVERVIEW:


On our team, you’ll coach a development team to achieve its highest performance level, while ensuring the scrum project is successfully progressed. You’ll work on unusually complex problems, introduce leading-edge concepts, and provide highly innovative solutions to your team and key stakeholders. Using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Trello, you’ll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish requirement gathering, backlog grooming, estimation, and sprint reviews. In this role, you’ll guide and mentor your colleagues to directly impact DoD by re-imagining siloed processes through understanding of service member pain points in legacy processes. This is an opportunity to share your expertise in Agile requirements gathering and process improvement while successfully delivering project solutions that will improve service member access to benefits. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years of experience with Agile software development life cycle (SDLC) projects
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master working with agile tools, including Jira or Confluence
  • Experience with facilitating requirement gathering and prioritization sessions while translating stakeholder needs into requirements documentation
  • Experience with improving efficiency and process development on software development team
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, inclusive, collaborative work environment to achieve consensus
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, comprehend the intent of a client’s needs, and help shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with IT services, the SDLC or technology deployments for the DoD
  • Experience with client interaction, including technology strategies and road mapping
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Visio, and Word
  • Possession of excellent client-facing or consulting skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master's degree in IT Related field
  • PMI-ACP or ScrumMaster (CSM) Certification
  • Security+ Certification
