OVERVIEW:

As a Cloud Architect on our team, you’ll design a secure, cloud-based infrastructure to support mission-critical operations. You’ll recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You’ll lead your team as they help the customer overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Your technical expertise will be vital as you work with Navy transformation teams to ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your customer’s environment using current cloud capabilities. You’ll be able to sharpen your skills in cloud infrastructure while developing critical systems for the Navy. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to build cloud-based solutions to help your customers meet their evolving needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7+ years of experience as a cloud infrastructure architect delivering client-focused solutions
• Experience transforming legacy systems by implementing new technologies or services including cloud architectures or IT solutions
• Ability to prepare and brief details of technical analysis
• Bachelor's degree

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with mobile infrastructure solutions for a government client
• Experience with documenting analysis in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of AWS technologies, tools, and service offerings
• Knowledge of the Department of the Navy's organization structure and ranks
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possession of excellent client-facing and consulting skills
• Master's degree
