OVERVIEW:
Initiate data architecture (DA) related activities, including extract-transform-load (ETL) processes and data warehouse solutions design, through business needs analysis and routine issue resolution. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction; mentor and may supervise team members.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of experience with big data for the DoD
- Experience with big data tools, including Apache Spark or Hadoop working with structured and unstructured data
- Bachelor's degree
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with applying big data concepts in a data lake
- Knowledge of enterprise transformation initiatives
- Possession of excellent client-facing or consulting skills
- Master's degree
- Big Data Engineer or Data Architecture Certification
