OVERVIEW:
Work to establish and manages data access and support practices for a specific database technology. Applies specific functional knowledge, and working and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance, and may review or guide activities of more junior employees.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience with MSSQL, MySQL, Mongo, PostGreSQL, or Oracle Solutions
- Experience with AWS data storage services, including RDS, DynamoDB, and Redshift
- Experience with performing database programming and supported systems design, including maintenance of database dictionaries, overall monitoring of standards and procedures, file design and storage, and integration of systems through database design.
- Knowledge of database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end and back-end programming languages
- Ability to design, create, and maintain databases in a client-server environment.
- Ability to conduct quality control and auditing of databases in a client-server environment to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data
- HS Diploma or GED

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with DevOps and Agile development environments
- Experience in administration and configuration of database solutions for unstructured information
- Experience with VM distribution, maintenance, refreshing, and creation
