Performs tool development and integration for network and cybersecurity monitoring, data collection, tracking, and reporting, including configuration and integration of tools such as ACAS, FireEye, HBSS, PaloAlto, SCCM, SCOM, SolarWinds, Splunk, and Tanium, to ensure the service operations team has the tools and capabilities required to perform their jobs effectively and efficiently.
Conducts research in design, development, testing and utilization of network and cybersecurity software.
Determines network and cybersecurity operations user needs; analyzes commercial and government tools to determine capabilities and limitations, performance, and interface requirements; configures tools and designs and develops integrations between tools to include visualization dashboards; prepares operating instructions.
Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems.
Ensures software standards are met.
Coordinates software system installations and monitors equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.
