OVERVIEW:

An Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) program is looking for a highly motivated engineer to become a key member of a mission-critical cybersecurity effort.  The program is entering its second year of a 10-year contract.  The program is structured utilizing DevSecOps and Agile methodologies. These software development methodologies emphasize communication, collaboration (information sharing and web service usage), integration, automation, and measurement of cooperation between software developers and other IT professionals. Operational stability is the program’s number one priority.

As a Systems and Consumer Integration (CI) Engineer on this team, you will be working closely with subject matter experts to research, define, implement, test, deploy, and maintain key software components within an existing enterprise class information system. You will have a hand in every phase of the product lifecycle, from initial prototyping all the way to production maintenance and integration.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Provide direct support to enterprise applications who are integrating with our services
  • Execute the CI lifecycle across development, test, and operational baselines
  • Update CI documentation with release-relevant changes
  • Packaging/scripting of installs
  • Assist in deployments of the system's products in testing and operational environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system/operational incidents

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a technical or related field with 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Active CompTIA Security+
  • Strong communication skills, results-oriented, team player, creative thinker, problem solver
  • Self-starter with an ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • COTS and FOSS integration experience
  • Experience in identity management and governance, to include single sign-on, identity federation, or enterprise directory architecture and design
  • Experience or familiarity with the following identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) concepts/standards:

            - LDAP or MS Active Directory

            - Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

            - Transport Layer Security (TLS) / Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)

            - OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC) or Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML)      

  • Experience or familiarity with the following technologies, and a desire to learn the others:

             - Linux OS administration or scripting (Bash)

             - Cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure)

  • Experience or familiarity with common Agile practices and tools
