OVERVIEW:

As a systems engineer on our F-35 team, you have the chance to develop and apply systems methodologies and techniques to investigate solutions for advanced technical problems and support the development, acquisition, and integration of the F-35 Joint Reprogramming Enterprise. You'll participate as part of a multi-disciplinary team on technical and engineering tasks on behalf of the F-35 Joint Program Office, including trade studies in the performance of requirements analysis, requirements definition, requirements management, functional performance analysis, system design, systems integration and test, and interface definition studies of system, subsystem or system elements to develop cost-effective systems and designs that meet mission objectives. You'll also review prime contractor design documentation for completeness and compatibility with system specification, standards, and requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience in an engineering or technical position
• 3+ years of experience in engineering design or requirements development
• Bachelor's degree
• Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in systems engineering activities in support of DoD acquisition aviation programs, including design, development, integration, and test
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
