OVERVIEW:
Install, test and configure identity management tools and processes. Architect, implement, and deploy Identity Solutions for multiple network enclaves with different security classifications. Assist in operations and maintenance of systems once deployed. interface with the Operations, Cloud, Governance, and other Enterprise teams to develop strategy and deployment plans for making Identity resources consumable for the organization. Strong understanding of legacy and modern authentication protocols. Understanding the business direction of government agencies and work in creating optimized ICAM architectures to meet their business needs. Candidate should have experience and capability within either ICAM systems in both Data Center and Cloud environments. This includes both infrastructure and environment knowledge and component specific configuration knowledge. Candidate should be familiar with LDAP and related processes.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Consulting with Product Teams to onboard new monitors and alerts to ICAM and other Monitoring Applications
  • Deployment and management of ICAM application to containers
  • Delivering a positive user interface/experience to our internal teams and customers. By building out monitoring tooling as described above, the candidate will play a key role in supporting our program. objectives. Our core focus is on customer experience and consolidating automation workflows. By building best-of-breed operational tooling and automation, the person who fills this role can directly improve customer satisfaction of both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and leadership in the areas of Agile Development in a Test Driven environment, Continuous Integration and Delivery, DevOps, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Help to define the overall technological direction and architecture of the ICAM Systems. Participate in meetings for the ICAM team with representatives from the Risk Management and Security Controls Team, Enterprise Architecture, Governance, Network Infrastructure, and the Cloud teams and various external teams within DHS.
  • Enterprise IT application experience that includes at least 5 years of hands-on enterprise IT, DevOps engineering, and systems architecture.
  • Experience in IT customer support working directly with users in a Tier 3 capacity for support.
  • Design, develop, and maintain an ICAM software stack using a mix of commercial and open-source software
  • Use automation tools to rapidly build, test, and deploy system components
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve system problems
  • Work with monitoring tools; manage access and permissions; script and automate where possible; maintain appropriate configurations; provide recommendations on system improvements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Jenkins / Pipeline Experience
  • Python Framework Experience
  • Kubernetes/Docker Experience / Container Deployment Experience
  • Development skills and knowledge including basic coding skills (Perl, PowerShell, vbscript)
  • IT Related Degree (Networking, Computer Science, IT, etc)
  • Experience in deployment of build artifacts across different environments, leveraging modern configuration management and deployment tools, including GitHub, Kubernetes/Docker, Jenkins/Bamboo and other CI/CD frameworks in an Agile Release Train and automated environment.
  • Understanding of cloud computing architecture, technical design and implementations, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery models
  • Significant experience in the software development lifecycle, with experience delivering within DevOps toolsets/practices
  • Experience with Identity, Cloud, and Windows products, including SailPoint, ZooKeeper, EC2, SQL Server, Radiant Logic, Load Balancers, Microsoft IIS, .NET, ASP .NET, VMs, TIE, VDS, FID, and ICS
  • Experience developing DevOps infrastructure using GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible and related tools
  • Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems
