OVERVIEW:
Seeking a talented and motivated DevSecOps professional that is passionate about our customer’s mission to join our team! This individual will work as part of an agile software development team to translate real-world needs into technical specifications making you an integral part of delivering customer focused engineering solutions. The candidate will be responsible for researching, developing, implementing, testing and integrating solutions. The candidate must be self-starting, able to work well within a team environment and motivated to deliver innovative capabilities that directly impact national security. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual with a solid IT background that wants to help us drive our customer and company missions forward. Candidate must be self-motivated, a quick learner, and able to balance simultaneous tasks to keep pace with our team of high performers.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Integrate Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) / Government-off-the-Shelf (GOTS) / and Open Source applications and configure network and component configurations in support of software delivery to national security customers
- Analyze and comprehend current system functional requirements to identify process and tool integration needs, system dependencies, integration points, system interfaces, and data flows
- Be responsible for system design, development, architecture, and integration of in-house and third-party developed software packages into the baseline. The individual will conduct technical analysis of complex infrastructure and integration challenges and report findings to stakeholders
- Design and implement scripts to automatically configure machine environments using tools such as Ansible, Kubernetes, or Puppet
- Scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash and Python
- Provide input to design and development teams, and monitor progress and productivity through the use of metrics
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical fields
- 5+ yrs. of related experience in most of the following:
- Software integration, troubleshooting, and application administration of large system-of-system (SoS) integration
- Merge software and systems integration and development
- Microsoft Windows Server 20012R2, Red Hat Linux 7 / 8
- Virtualization technologies using VMware and ESXI
- Basic network troubleshooting for client / server applications
- Ability to think critically and analytically in an enterprise and SoS environment
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarization with cloud frameworks; AWS, OpenStack, Azure, etc
- Experience with scripting languages, including Bash, Python, Ruby, or PHP
- Familiarity with security industry standards
- Certifications: Sec+, Network+, CEH or CISSP
- Enterprise server hardware maintenance
