Responsibilities:
- Linux system administration
- Provisioning and maintaining AWS Cloud Environment
- Provisioning and patching linux systems
- Virtualization management
- Apache application maintenance
Required:
- 10 or more years of experience with engineering hardware and networking systems
- Experience with AWS services (i.e. EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, CloudFormation, CloudTrail)
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Provisioning and patching RedHat/Centos
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems
Desired:
- Experience with VSphere and F5
- Experience maintaining Apache applications (Tomcat, SOLR Cloud, Zookeeper)
- Experience designing solutions for hardware and network scalability, failover/recovery, disaster recovery planning, monitoring, security and performance
