OVERVIEW
The Electronics Technician will be responsible for building rack-mounted computing and storage systems, and they will be responsible for installing these systems in field offices. The ET will work with video recording and management systems with varying hard- and soft-ware configurations. The ET will frequently take calls from customers—located throughout the country—that may need real-time trouble-shooting with systems that could have a variety of root problems to address. The ET will sometimes need to disassemble malfunctioning or out-of-date hardware, both in the lab and in the field, and fix or update these systems. The ET will run and terminate various network and power cable types, both in the lab and during active installations.
