GENERAL DUTIES

  • Submit technology insertion requests
  • Review implementation-level architecture products and system design documentation
  • Support architectural requirements by conducting Service Integration Maturity Model (SIMM) assessments and reviews
  • Provide assistance with charters, communication plans, meeting agendas, status reports
  • Develop artifacts such as Enterprise Architecture views (as-is and to-be)
  • Make recommendations on strategies and approaches, promote continuous architecture improvements
  • Act as advisor and liaison between Government and technical stakeholders to propose changes to the architecture, design and implementation based on analysis of requirements and new technology
  • Analyze application data models against requirements and report results to Government
  • Support the planning and development of a Data Management Plan
  • Communicate and collaborate with government staff and other contractors (infrastructure, cyber security and applications)
  • Designing future state modern data architecture for transformation at the enterprise level using advanced architectural principles
  • Primary location is Dulles, VA with occasional meetings in Arlington, VA (Ballston)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of enterprise architecture experience such as TRM, DODAF, DHS EA
  • Solid interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation and experience working with multiple subcontractor teams
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Strong project planning and organizational skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Business
  • Desired hands-on experience with:
  • System Architect
  • MS Visio
  • EA certification (ex. TOGAF)
  • Familiarity with the DHS SELC

  • Active Secret Clearance minimum
