Bachelors degree and 5+ years directly related experience or Masters degree and 3+ years directly related experience. Years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree for certain roles. Certifications may be accepted in lieu of a degree for certain technical roles.

As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll ensure the current infrastructure is secure, functional, and available while looking for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies. You’ll provide our clients with insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You’ll help the team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience with Windows server and desktop operating systems
  • 3+ years of experience with US government implementations
  • Experience with system hardening and patching using System Center or Endpoint Manager
  • Knowledge of routine administrative activities, upgrades, and issue resolution
  • Ability to operate with minimal supervision and work in a team environment
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain IAT II certification within 30 days of start date

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with advanced administrator activities, virtualization, technology road map development, or testing and release management
  • Knowledge of database administration and integration with automation, orchestration, and security platforms
  • Ability to resolve complex issues, train junior administrators, and perform trend analysis of issues
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • BS degree in a STEM field preferred; MS degree in a STEM field a plus
  • Associate or professional level Microsoft certifications, including MCSA
  • IAT III certification
