OVERVIEW
Responsible for translating the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or off the shelf products. Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Provides direction for design activities. Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites.
GENERAL DUTIES OVERVIEW
The individual selected for this position will support the customer's Chief Architect's Programs, which is responsible for elevating technical analysis functions by integrating the science and technology data environment and enabling mission management through data-driven feedback. The Chief and Deputy Chief seeks a responsive, resourceful, and efficient individual to provide governance and Secretariat skills for the Boards/Councils/Working Groups of the Chief Architect's Office. Specifically, we are looking for someone with strong communication, interpersonal, and tracking and monitoring tracking skills.
The systems integrator is responsible for assisting the Chief Architect's Office in documenting, tracking, and scheduling agenda items for the governance meetings, and creating and publishing the meeting minutes and action items. Additionally, the position will be responsible for consistent and timely communications with briefers to ensure their presentation material is available for review by senior leadership prior to the meeting. The systems integrator will take the lead on assigning dates for proposed agenda topics, managing actions, liens, and scheduling for the meetings, as well as, compiling and maintaining correspondence, records, work products (e.g., reports), website/SharePoint sites, processes, and policies. This position regularly interfaces with directorate level leadership and reports to the Chief and Deputy Chief Architect. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
