OVERVIEW
The client is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to assist with design, development and maintenance of an Apache Solr Cloud system. The candidate will work with the team to design and develop custom APIs to the Solr index, monitor the application and server performance, support infrastructure updates, and troubleshoot operational issues. The candidate will also assist with migration of the system into Solr Cloud and support AWS migration efforts.
The ideal candidate appreciates partnering with a customer and a group of engineers dedicated to changing the status quo and is passionate about leveraging technology in creative ways to solve hard problems.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 12+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years experience with Java or C#
- Experience with Apache Solr -or- ElasticSearch
- Experience with Oracle SQL
- Experience working in a Linux environment
- Experience with Bash scripting
- Experience working in Scrum or Kanban methodologies
- Proven ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be a self-starter
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems
- Top Secret Clearance
